Awana Clubs
AWANA meets on Sunday nights, 5:00 to 6:30 pm! AWANA is like Scouts and the excitement of VBS all rolled into one! We have three Awana Clubs on Sunday night:
CUBBIES (4yrs-K) This Club is specifically designed for our youngest students and focuses on nurturing a respect for God's Word and utilizes handbooks, lessons, activities and memory verses to introduce basic biblical truths. Cubbies have a blue vest and can earn patches for completing handbook sections.
SPARKS CLUB (1-2 grade) The Spark’s Club earns patches and wings/jewels as they work their way through handbooks learning scripture. You can catch our Sparkys learning verses and proudly wearing their red uniform vest! If a Sparky completes all three handbook (challenging, but not impossible) they receive the Sparky Plaque.
TRUTH & TRAINING (3rd-5th grade) TNT Club members have a green uniform shirt, and they earn patches for memory work in their handbooks. If a student completes all three handbooks (very challenging) they will receive our I Timothy 4:12 award at the end of the year . . . it’s quite an honor!
Clubs also enjoy their own age-appropriate game time and snack time! We also have a huge mission emphasis through the year and culminate that with March Mission Madness where we support and learn about a mission.
