I am a huge fan of the Purdue Boilermakers and Indianapolis Colts, and love following the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes as well. I love all things Star Trek, and enjoy reading American history, particularly biographies. My day cannot start without a cup of coffee in my hand. I eat all things barbecue, and dislike all squishy, and pudding-like foods. I’m looking at you, marshmallows and congealed salads.

I’m Branden, and I have the joy & privilege of serving as the Music Minister here at Northside Christian Church.
My heart for worship is rooted in a deep desire to see people encounter the presence of God—not just through music, but by leading hearts into a posture of worship that makes room for Christ to move.
Music has always been a big part of my life, but I didn’t always know it would lead me to ministry. My journey with faith wasn’t a lightning bolt moment — it was more like a series of nudges, melodies, and open doors. Over time, I began to see how God was using music to guide not just my heart, but others’ too.
Outside of church, I’m usually making music, trying out new recipes I may or may not follow correctly, pretending I’m better at home improvement than I actually am, and overthinking whether or not I’ve replied to your text. I also have a growing collection of instruments I keep promising myself I’m going to learn to play.

I have a passion for walking alongside students as they grow in their faith, discover who they are in Christ, and experience the love and grace of God in real, life-changing ways.

When I’m not hanging out with our awesome youth group, you can usually find me building something fun with Legos, planning our next Disney adventure, or dreaming about our next Disney cruise.
​
I believe ministry should be full of joy, creativity, and connection and I try to bring that energy into everything I do. I’m so thankful to be part of a church that invests in the next generation and helps them build a firm foundation in Jesus.

I am a proud Momma of three and no matter if it is band, sports, choir, theatre-what have you, I get the greatest joy watching my children do what they love! I also relish listening to audiobooks, watching a good movie, and playing board/card games with my family. Whether it's on a boat or sitting by the ocean, the water is my happy place, and I've been known to enjoy some thrills ziplining, parasailing, or spending the day at a theme park with my kids. I may have also been accused a time or two of having the palate of a five year old, but hey-chocolate comes from cacao, which comes from a tree, which makes it a plant, so chocolate is really a vegetable, right?

I am a lover of order & all things in their place, with a heart full of half-finished scrapbooks and big dreams. Music is always playing, chocolate is always near, and my favorite memories are made at home— in the middle of a DIY project or a game night with family. You will often find me in my minivan, running from one thing to the next, worship music turned up, Strawberry Refresher in hand, and full of joy tucked into the chaos.
